Apparently someone — not me — called up a Spence Executive (the infamous voice of those ridiculously annoying yet highly effective radio ads, Spence President Sean Jones??) and argued that the ad was insulting and degrading. And Spence agreed to take the ads down.
Bravo, Spence! Not that I was planning to step foot in your store at any point in this particular lifetime, but I’m glad to hear you can take some constructive criticism.
Well, at least when it comes to offensive ads, if not the highly annoying ones.
